Standard Gummimakk Lures |

We have further developed the traditional "Gummimakk" lure, which was
originally invented by fishermen along the Norwegian coast.
Over the years, it has proved as deadly as a sand eel
imitation for catching Cod, Pollack, Coalfish, and other predatory species.
The "Gummimakk" is made using
supple but hard wearing coloured tube, which is cut to length by hand, and
fitted over a specially manufactured hook.
The hook has an extra long bent
shank, designed to give the lure an irresistible swimming action when worked
through the water.

We have replaced the inferior
"barrel type" swivel used by other suppliers with a far superior, more
modern "Crane Swivel".
We use the superior quality VMC 9777 PermaSteel Gummimakk
hooks, in sizes 8/0 , 10/0 and 12/0.
They are supplied in packs of 10 in
mixed colours, RED , BLACK and FLUORO ORANGE.

1 b) Stainless
Steel Gummimakk Lures
We are now able to
offer ALL STAINLESS STEEL GUMMIMAKK LURES in sizes 10/0 and
12/0.
The stainless steel construction of these lures makes them
very strong and ultimately rust / stain resistant giving the
lures a much longer working life.
They are perfect for use with diveboards or any occasional
use fishing where the gear is stored for periods between
uses.
Each lure is fitted with a Cannelle E126x Stainless steel
crane swivel which is incredibly strong as well as extremely
corrosion resistant.
Size 10/0 has a 1/0 (600lbs test) swivel and size 12/0 has a
size 2/0 (750lbs test) swivel fitted.
These new stainless steel gummimakk are available in the
same great fish catching colours as our standard gummimakk
lures.

Sidewinder Sand Eels |

The lure of choice for many Bass fishermen.
These lures have taken the angling world by storm, and are now
commonly used by commercial fishermen all over the UK.
Trials using Sidewinder
Sandeels fished on static monofilament longlines have proved
successful and have been well publicised. |
|
Their relatively high initial cost is soon out-weighed by the saving
in time & effort in collecting and storing bait.
When fishing for
Bass, the high market value and potential increase in catches means
they soon pay for themselves.
Both sizes are effective fished in any manner.
However we recommend......
the 4"
size for longline,
and the 6" for trolling.

Traditional Style 4" "In Line" Squid Jigs |

We can now
offer traditional style in-line squid jigs we import directly from the
manufacturers in Korea. |

Far from the cheap inferior jigs
commonly seen, with spikes that bend, blunt and rust easily, these are
top quality commercial grade jigs as used on automated jigging boats
in the Far East.
These jigs have a soft luminous body armed with two
rows of stainless steel spikes that will not easily bend, and hold
onto the squid.
Each jig is 4 inches long. They are manufactured
for use with automated jigging machines.
They are also ideally suited for use with handlines.
Jigs are simply rigged ‘inline’ by joining the jigs
together with short lengths of monofilament via the stainless eyes at
the top and bottom of each jig.
A lead is added to the bottom of the rig.
It is a good idea to join the lead on with weaker monofilament so this
will break first and so minimise gear losses.
Luminous
soft-bodied inline squid jigs are supplied in packs of 10 of assorted
colours.

assemble, so you don't need to be particularly clever - anyone can do

guidelines.
